After the night before when Ashleigh had nearly made his head explode – well, she did succeed with one, but he wasn’t talking about that one – Alex had committed to doing this her way. To hell with the gentle, sweet lover he’d been trying to be for her. She wanted something more, and he was hell bent on being that man. He had left her a message a little while ago, asking her to meet him at his office. He hadn’t come up with any excuses because seriously, what was he going to tell her? Instead, he’d left her a very thorough message, offering her detailed instructions. Now he just had to wait. Thankfully Dylan and Cole were out of town, having gone back to Austin for a follow up meeting with a ranch owner looking to venture into the hotel business. They were talking big business, and since Alex had hit it off really well with Travis Walker, he’d wanted Dylan to get a feel for the man. If all went well, they’d be looking to expand south a few hundred miles.
