I'm left feeling somewhat confused after reading this sequence. Some of it I really enjoyed (about 30%) then there was about 20% that I skimmed over and the remaining 50% I was quite bored with and every time I thought I'd give up, something would happen to draw me back in. However, the story is ongoing so there are no answers to any of the questions and mysteries that have materialised and in all honesty I don't think it held my interest enough to make me buy the other sequences. Maybe if I let these 3 books sink in over time then it's possible I may return to the next instalments. This is a really gripping and hot read. This whole story is written as a series of short stories, each with a cliffhanger so it makes sense to cut your losses and buy the bundled set because you won't be able to stop thinking about this. The end of this has unfinished business rather than a cliffhanger so while I could leave it there, I'm enjoying this so much, I'm reading on.The writing is higher than the usual quality for this type of book.Recommended for anyone who likes a slightly dark, hot tale
