Naked with Alexander Porter. Amanda hurried to her right and found the entire bed empty. Her first reaction was Not again… as her hands checked the pillows and the sheets, expecting to find some kind of note from him. She didn’t want to do this again, not this game. She wanted to just wake next to him and have him in the morning. As her hands frantically dug around, she caught sight of the night stand. The cell phone from the day before was propped up, calling to Amanda. She reached out and grabbed it, pressing a button so the screen would light up. There was a message waiting from Alexander. Look out for a second – naked – and then write back. Amanda wanted to write back right then but she listened to Alexander. She stood up on the bed, naked. She then remembered about the cameras in the cabin and realized that this was probably why Alexander wanted her to look out the window. She looked over her shoulder and across the room, not smiling, hoping to convey the message that she didn’t want to play anymore text messaging games. Thankfully, Alexander didn’t have cameras in the window itself. Her jaw dropped in awe and when she was able to close her mouth, it went into a smile. The outside world was serene. The mountains with their white caps of snow, the snow trying to hang onto the trees, but the sun won that battle. Every few seconds, piles of snow would fall from branches, spreading open into a small flurry, hitting other branches and trees on the way down. The mix of green, white, with a clear blue sky made it almost too perfect to believe that it was reality. Amanda felt herself calming and she turned and plopped down to the bed. She couldn’t believe how suddenly comfortable she felt naked. Technically she’d been naked for over twelve hours, even since she stripped herself in the bathroom the night before. The only thing to graze her body since then was a towel, the bed sheets, and Alexander Porter’s body.
