Talk about some really kinky people! Although it seems sensational, it was still entertaining. I even found myself laughing out loud a lot. I do question his experience with the Marine Corps. It puzzled me at one point in the book where he referred to the restroom as the "latrine". That term is used by the Army whereas the Marines being a Corps of the Navy had adopted the Naval term for the restroom as the "head". Nevertheless still an entertaining book. Well. Let me start by saying this author is a mess. He's an absent father, lies to his primary romantic partners, and lives entirely for a hedonistic moment. That is, is anything in this book is true. I read the whole thing with a growing conviction that it was all bullshit. Maybe he was part of a ring of people who took money for sex in Hollywood but I suspect his claims of being an insider and friend of powerful and creative people is overstated at best. I could even appreciate this as a history of hollywood's golden age because I was 99% sure this author was lying to my face.
Bullshit. But occasionally entertaining bullshit.
