Seven Wonders Book 1: The Colossus Rises (2013) - Plot & Excerpts
First parts, exciting. Well-written. There's humor. And there are many good information present. However, in the later parts, my motivation to continue lessened because the events are being predictable. Moreover, although Jack, Aly, Cass and Marco have their own unique abilities, I still cant find something in their character/personalities that will make me love them. Maybe, I have yet to discover it in the next books. I started to read this, but I quit after 150 pages of pure boredom. All of the characters are flat, and to make them seem interesting, it seems like the author gave each character a specific trait, but it did not work for me. The author just drones on about this Jack's story and as much as I tried to like it, I could not. Like everybody else is saying, it is a bit like Percy Jackson. But, when Percy Jackson was actually a bit entertaining, this book was the opposite to me.
What do You think about Seven Wonders Book 1: The Colossus Rises (2013)?
Very disappointing. After reading Peter Leranges one of the 39 Clues was looking forward to it.
