This is the book series that not only got me into reading but gave me what genre I liked: Dystopian. Haddox does such an amazing job at making the story line believable and making Luke the main character and drawing force while also letting you get to know other characters. Even when other books are about a different character she draws the all back together into one big story. Such a great series and easy read. Definitely a good series to get a pre-teen to start to enjoy reading and it's even good reading it as an adult. I enjoyed this dystopian series about a society that only allows two children per family. I found it in the junior section at the library, but I think it would be good for young adults also. For cleanliness: a reference in book three to a thirteen year old girl kissing a boy, and a little violence throughout. Since some of the books I would rate 4 stars, and some of them 3 stars, I will give the whole series 3.5 stars.
This series was great and easy to read, always kept me reading.
