Cam pushed his way out of the building as the driver’s side opened. The aide had white hair and was wearing a dark grey suit. When he stood fully and turned his face toward the building, the nerves in Cam’s body buzzed. But it wasn’t until the man came closer that Cam became truly afraid. The man, the aide, was perfect. He had blue eyes, crystalline in their intensity. His skin tone was even. No visible scars, wrinkles, even pores, though he seemed old. His features were regular, the mouth perhaps a little wide. But none of that mattered: He was beautiful beyond the very meaning of the word.
