Currently reading!More promising than the last book! David seems more like himself, thank goodness. And I like that magic is possibly having a bigger role in the series! Not sure I like all the mystery surrounding Deven's involvement in pretty much everything... I just want to see him being sassy, I don't care about the other stuff! Why did he have to end up being the Lord Alpha?!Nearly strained my eyes I rolled them so hard - could not give less of a crap about Stella or her obsession with Miranda. Not exactly sure what it's supposed to be adding to the story, it kind of makes me cringe. Just leave it alone sweetheart, it doesn't matter how accurate your theories are, it's none of your business (I guess she an accurate analogy for the relationship between celebrities and the media/fans huh?)Also glad Faith got a bit more of a personal storyline rather than more work related things! Will update once I've finished reading it! The Shadow World series is not on my 'book to read when I feel bad' shelf, because the amount of doom, gloom and despair outweighs the laughter and joy. Somehow, I continue to love these books, even with the deaths of seemingly important characters, and too many points of view to count. I first read this book before I started writing reviews on Goodreads. I hated the ending, knowing I would have to wait a year for Of Shadow Born.
What do You think about Shadow's Fall (2012)?
How do you end a book like that? I can't wait for the next one.
