This was the first book of Melinda Leigh's I have read. It was really good. I am really into the whole mystery type genre right now and this just hit the spot. I will definitely read some more of her. The only thing that I didn't like was how fast the relationship seemed to progress. After a week, they were thinking of thoughts that didn't seem fitting for only knowing each other for a WEEK! But other than that, I really enjoyed it! Melinda Leigh does it again. I read She Can Run in one sitting and have looked forward to each new release in this series ever since. I know I can count on Melinda Leigh to deliver a thrilling story and great romance, but each one will be unique, not just the same characters with different names but essentially the same story. She Can Hide is true to form: Abby is a rich complex character, fully realized in her own right, and Ethan was so much more than a generic Alpha male to the rescue. I really related to how difficult it was for Abby to learn to trust Ethan, especially given her past. I would recommend this to any fan of romantic suspense who's hungry for real characters and a fresh story.
This author does that romance/suspense theme well. This book does not disappoint. Fast paced.
