This was a quick read, nothing that will make you think too deeply. But I was a little disappointed with the quick wrap-up end. It seemed to take a long time to get through 7/8ths of the book and then everything was finished, tied up and resolved (and I mean just about everything) in a relatively short section of the novel. It was almost as if the author decided she was bored with the characters and gave them a swift ending. I loved this book...It takes a girl from NYC to Texas, fresh from divorce trying to put her life and her kids' lives back together. It's a difficult journey that you must take with Shey. You will enjoy her even when you are crying for her. You will notice there are links with this book and some of the others of Jane's. Read them all and get to know these women who have been friends for decades...Their friendship is heartwarming, as is Jane Porter. Her writing sucks you in and makes you feel like you are a part of the book.
I want to move to the country! Love those cowboys.
