Plot:Joe Stoshack, or Stosh, is a baseball fanatic. He has a special gift for traveling through time with baseball cards. In this adventure, Stosh wants to go back into time to help Shoeless Joe Jackson, a famous baseball player from 1919. Shoeless Joe was a fantastic left fielder for the White Sox. Shoeless Joe was going to go the the Hall of Fame, until he was caught in a scandal. They called it the Black Sox Scandal. Shoeless Joe and 6 other players were banned from the MLB for life. Later on, Shoeless Joe and the others were proven innocent. This kept Shoeless Joe out of the Hall of Fame. Stosh wants to go back in time to stop the scandal. When Stosh goes back in time, he learns that his Great Uncle is very sick. Will Stosh save his Great Uncle? Will he prove that Shoeless Joe Jackson was innocent all along? I thought this would be a good book because the rest of the series is really good. I also really like this author. He writes the Million Dollar series as well. I did not like this book as much as the others, but it was still a good book. I would recommend this book a historic baseball lovers. I would rather read Ray & Me or Satch & Me. I was not as impressed with this book as I was with the others.

There is a big lesson to be taught throughout this book about choosing between the easy wrong or doing the right thing. Joe Stoshack goes back in time once again. This time he's going back in time to stop the 1919 Chicago Blacksox scandal from happening. The Blacksox scandal was where Chicago Whitesox baseball players accepted money from gamblers to throw the 1919 world series. Among the players who accepted money was Shoeless Joe Jackson who was well on his way to the hall of fame. Stoshack asks his mom if he can go back in time, to which she responds sure just get me a picture of my great grandma. When Joe goes back he also finds his great uncle is very sick. Can Joe save him?I really like this book because there is not just one reason Joe Stoshack is going back in time.

In this book, he goes back to 1919 to meet "Shoeless Joe" Jackson and tries to change history by trying to prevent the Black Sox Scandal from happening, and to get a 500,000 dollar Shoeless Joe autograph to save his favorite Baseball Card store from going out of business. Read this book to see if he succeeds!Overal, a good book to read. This book is ment for those with some knowing of baseball and it's history. It may be a stretch for those that do not pay much attention to baseball, but hey, give it a chance. I give this book a 3 out of 5 *stars*

Shoeless Joe and me by Dan Gutman-hisorical fiction. Shoeles joe and me is about how a boy wants to go back in time to prevent the Black Sox Scandal. But he ends up doing that be he does a completely different mission when he is at the base ball stadium. When he comes home he finds out the result of doing what he did. Because what you do in the past goes to the future. I rated this book a five out of five because this book always had you on edge. This book also had many different turning points so that made it very interesting.
