I first became acquainted with Simon's Cat through the animated cartoons on the author's website and youtube. They were so adorable/hilarious that when I saw a giveaway on Goodreads for a book by the author I jumped at it. So, this is my review of the free copy I received through the giveaway. This book primarily focuses on the relation between Simon's cat and the addition of a new kitten to the household. The scenes are sweet/endearing/detailed/thoughtful/humorous and more often than not completely true, capturing well the mischievous and playful nature of kitties. As with the animated cartoon, there is no text/narration. It also comes with 2 great extras: stickers and a drawing tutorial. I think anyone who owns a cat or has owned a cat would love this book; it in fact made me miss having kitties. I've bought Simon's previous books, but I got this one via a giveaway on Goodreads. Like his other books this embodies the chaos that a cat creates, especially in outwitting the human (and sometimes themselves). In this book a kitten is added to adds into the cat's life the chaos that the cat adds to their human's. While I prefer the earlier books because the kitten is just a little too forceably cute for my tastes, this is still an excellent book of cat humor. I highly recommend it.
Cualquiera que tenga un gato adorará esta saga, es real como la vida misma!
