I always start with the bad.My biggest complaint would be it was too early in the series. The first book introduces the concept of her sister having been murdered. The first one uses that as partial motivation for what she does. I don't want to give anything away, but this second one solves that murder. Think that should have come later.My other complaint regarding the book (and her first) is she breaks what should be paragraphs into individual sentences when she has people speaking (can't always tell when it switches between people, or who is speaking).That's it for my complaints.A problem I had (no reflection on the author) is, since I think of park City UT as a ski town, I sometimes had trouble remembering it was summer in the book, and not cold out.As I said for the first book, I repeat for this one: enjoyable book. It keeps moving. It stays focused on the mystery. Yes, there are excursions to fill character and background, but those are blended well with the story.
