What do You think about Sleepwalk With Me (2000)?
there was nothing bad about this book. it was a nice quick read. i don't think i ever laughed out loud though. i don't think i found much of it even particularly funny.the stories leading up to the last one were most likely true, but nothing about them seemed particularly painful. they really just seemed regular. the last one was probably the best one and really, it's what i thought the whole book would be about. mike birbiglia sleepwalking stories.i came to this book from ira glass talking about it on this american life. i think mike was on the show doing the stand-up version of one of the stories in this book. it was funny as stand as i listened to the podcast, but not as funny reading it.

I loved this book so much! I'm so glad I picked it up on a whim. Mike Birbiglia is probably my favorite comedian, and for that reason I can't believe I haven't read this book before. Definitely going to need to buy it, so I can have it on my bookshelf and read it over and over again. Much of it is from his stand-up set, but for some reason it never fails to make me laugh, even though I've heard it a thousand times. To sum up, it's my favorite comedy show in book format. What's not to love?

It's funny. You know, cause he's a comedian and funny stories are his job.
