I thought I was going to love this book. I'm not sure I can pinpoint the problem either. I had trouble connecting with Sebastian and Jordan. They never made the jump from being characters to being believable people for me. Their reactions and interactions didn't make sense or weren't consistent. It also seemed like it took them forever to get on with it. In terms of days it wasn't too long, it was that the inner dialogue and struggle seemed to go on and on. I got bored with that. There was still something there I liked though and because of that I'll be reading the next one. Hopefully I like that one better. I liked the concept of this book, but I felt that it didn´t really deliver. I got bored while reading it, because nothing really happened and I started skimming a lot. This book does focus more on the characters, but I felt that it jumped from issue to issue and from person to person very much. This is one of those books where I can´t really pinpoint what I didn´t like about it, I just know that as I read it, it didn´t engage me and I got bored. I did like the happy ending for all though!
What do You think about Sounds Of Love (2012)?
Interesting characters and story-line, but the writing style made for some majorly boring reading.
