The band had packed up for the night and the crowd had thinned to only those on clean-up duty.
          “Did you get enough dancing?” he asked, a wide grin on his face.
          “I did,” she smiled. “I have to say that for the first time in my life I did get enough dancing tonight!”
          “That’s good,” he commented. “I don’t think I’ll walk for a week!”
          “Are you okay?” She looked up at him with concern on her face.
          “Perfectly fine,” he assured her. “I think I proved my point.” He chuckled and set the horse to a slow trot.
            They rode home quietly in the soft light of the moon and Emma cuddled next to him in the chill of the night air.
          She caught sight of an animal in the road ahead of them and pointed it out. “Is that a deer?”
