There s simply nothing else to say but AMAZING!!!!! i love this sort of thing and i find that Carter having previously worked in this area a massive benefit, it adds another dimension to the story. I love the cliff hangers that make you keep reading and i like the relationship between hunter and garcia. I read this book second and i feel that you cam read these books in any order and still understand the characters. The Night Stalker is the 2nd book from Chris Carter that I read. The story doesn’t really impress me much, although it is still good. The way the killer put things inside his victims is actually not really that special. Also the reason behind it is quite predictable. It has to connect to a childhood trauma. What impresses me is not the reason behind the murders but the mechanism of the murders itself. The way Chris Carter pictured the killer psychology and ingenious way to kill the victims without he did it himself. It’s kind of twisted on how the killer mind’s work. The way he translates the word “Love” to his victims is just “different”. I expected more from this book…but I’m still going to give it 4 stars. In my opinion The Executioner is still the one that blows my mind. I’m ready to read the 3rd book and give another review.
