A great 4.5* read. I loved Maggie. I especially loved that the author made her real. She didn't have a perfect body (by society's standards), yet Gabe saw nothing but perfection. He even thought she was perfect when "snoring like a freight train." While Maggie wasn't "perfect", Gabe was pretty darn close. He has his demons, but what great male lead doesn't?! One thing that stood out to me (ha) was that he didn't have the stereotypical, romance novel penis. Hey...some women get a curve and some don't! Anyway, great characters. Great chemistry. Great plot. Hilarious ending. Thoroughly enjoyed this one. :) STEAL MY HEART by Lisa Eugene is a fast paced Romantic Suspense novel that will keep you on the edge of your seat and the pages flying! It is #2 in Eugene's Washington Memorial series, but can be read as a stand alone. It is not necessary to read the series in order.STEAL MY HEART is the love story of Maggie Lawson and ex-Navy SEAL, Gabe Masters. Maggie is a germ-a-phobic nurse who accidentally becomes involved in a dirty and dangerous adventure with Gabe Masters. At first she is forced to help Gabe through her nursing skills. Then, she is forced to assist Gabe by gunpoint. It doesn't take long, however, for her to willingly assist the ruggedly handsome, enigmatic ex-SEAL because the chemistry between the two is explosive. The love scenes in STEAL MY HEART are sizzling. The suspense will have you enthralled, and you'll find this book hard to put down. Eugene will have you guessing until the end.STEAL MY HEART is full of suspense, danger, and romance. This was my first Lisa Eugene book and I loved it. I don't usually read books with graphic love scenes, but I did enjoy this one because of the generous mixture of mystery in the story. It is definitely for mature readers. This is a great book for anyone who enjoys suspense, mystery, and lots of sizzling romance. Received for an honest review.RATING: 4HEAT RATING: HOTREVIEWED BY: Molly WatersCourtesy of My Book Addiction and More
What do You think about Steal My Heart (2013)?
Although there is plenty of mystery and action, for some reason this book was a slow read for me.

Rating Clarification: 4.3 stars, not quite a 4.5 but it was better than a 4.
