I really enjoyed this one. I don't read about pirates that much and after this book maybe that is a mistake on my part. Time-travel is one of my favorite genres though and this one fit the bill.I liked the main character more and more as time goes on. She makes some mistakes and she grows a lot throughout the book. There is a hint of romance, but it is not at all the focus. I loved the conclusion and thought it was a solid ending. 4 out of 5 stars. I loved the concept of this book time traveling and pirates, I felt it was going to be an amazing book. I was disappointed, there was not much of a story line at all. The characters had no depth I could not connect with them. The relationships were even worse, there was no romance, no magic as it stated in the cover. Jill felt off a boat, she cleaned, she whined about going home, she cleaned, she whined about going home, made friends considered staying and finally made it home that's the whole book
