Okay this book was awful. It was SO BAD. A complete shame to all books. ESPECIALLY books about eating disorders. If you're going to write about things like this you HAVE to make it good. It's an expectation you must, must meet. And this book failed oh so miserably. First off t was so so boring. Just I can't even begin to tell you how boring it is. It took me like 3 weeks to read I was so bored! The plot was the only decent thing. Too bad she couldn't fulfill it. All the characters were predictable and 2 dimensional. With no development or flow. The dialogue was lame and dull. And the events that took place within the plot sucked. Nothing exciting happens at all. Nothin big happened. The climax was almost nonexistent. And the narrator perspective was uncomfortable and unsatisfying. And lastly the writing style was choppy, awkward, and pretentious. I couldn't handle and pathetic mess of this book. Curse my nature to finish anything I start. When I first started reading this book, I really wasn't into it, and it took some effort getting past the first three chapters. I'm not sure when my opinion of it started to change, but some time after that, the book just seemed to get progressively better. I liked the addition of Ben and Doug, it made both Sethie and Janey gain more of a personality. It was a quick read, but I really did enjoy it.
What do You think about Stone Girl (2013)?
This book is DNF. This is a sad book and not showing me. No real parents around
