I loved the first book so much, except Elizabeth. I found her extremely aggravating. Now, I think that Victor is starting to get on my nerves because of his attraction to Elizabeth. Elizabeth is even worse in Such Wicked Intent that I want to scream and throw the book against the wall because of her. She's only there to be Victor's love interest, therefore I deem her as unnecessary to me. I know this is a rant but Elizabeth Lanvenzea is nothing but a Mary Sue. When she says that she misses being admired and adored that screams "Look at me, Mary Sue!" Also, she is not...bright. She doesn't realize that she has all these boys fawning all over her. Also, she just had to be right about Analiese, the supposed serving girl that died a long time ago. Ugh. I wished that Analiese would become Konrad's love interest, but nope! Elizabeth just had to be right, about everything.Otherwise, I enjoyed Such Wicked Intent. If Elizabeth was better created, then I would have enjoyed it. I liked this book more then the first one. I thouht that this one had a bit more action. I thought that the first one had a lot of introducing the characters and learning about the family the familys history with a little bit of an adventure. The second book was better because it got right into the story and had more action with them trying to get Konrad back alive and Victor having a huge crush on Elizabeth. I thought that this book is perfect for someone who likes a good adventure with a bit of romance.
