I have read all of Carole Matthews books, I depend on her for a good chick lit when I am in the mood for one. I have to say that I was really disappointed with this one. I didn't warm to Nell, the main character, at all. The chapters didn't flow as they normally do and although chick lit is often quite unrealistic, this was ridiculously so. I hope this is just a blip and Carole will be back to her normal self next book. Summer Daydreams is Packed with love, laughter and unforgettable characters! Nell is the main character in the story, she's a mum that works hard to provide for her family in the local chip shop. However, when her friends and work colleagues see that she has so much more potential they encourage her to follow her dreams of making and selling her very own range of handbags.Read it - you will love it! x
