Blythe is one angry and withdrawn young man. He doesn't trust people in general, but he hates shifters with passion. He's not obnoxious about it except in a case of Dan. Dan is a lone wolf, a shifter without a pack. Always on the move, he can't stay longer in one place for fear of getting on bad side of local alfa. First thing he's gay, which is not welcomed in shifter world, second - he doesn't have a mate and that's required if he'd like to join a pack.It was a really sweet story. There was a lot of angst thrown in the mix, but overall it was sweet. Dan met his equal in Bly. For the first time in his life he met someone who actualy made him work for a chance in relationship. I liked the book at the beginning. They meet and dance around getting together, get together then they face troubles. Why, because they don't talk. Dan does not communicate to his lover that he is facing death and btw you are in danger also and it could all be solved if I would talk to you. Why are so many books like this now. I hate it when one character is facing something bad and he could just talk to the other character and it could all be solved.
What do You think about Surviving The Change (2011)?
Typical but nice read after shifters and humans.
