Sam's Review5 * OUT OF THIS FREAKING WORLD * ONE OF MY TOP READS OF ALL TIME * EMOTIONAL * BEAUTIFUL * GRIPPING * HEALING * TI AMO * STARSIt has taken me so long to find the words for this review, this is purely because this book gave me everything and so much more I look for in a read. So I have been completely blown away, it is not very often I am lost for words but the AMAZING Tillie Cole left me ABSO-FREAKING-LUTELY SPEECHLESS!!! 'Sweet Fall' affected me in a HUGE way and touched every emotion in my body. Tillie Cole has written this book with her heart and soul, you can feel it through every page as you are taken along the journey AND emotional roller coaster of Lexi and Austin. Lexi, this sweet sweet girl is fighting a constant battle every day from the second she wakes up until she rests at night. As a reader, I was drawn to her character from start to finish, her story is filled with so much sadness, vulnerability and it is REAL, you want to jump into the book and wrap her in a bubble of safety and healing. Austin, the 'splendida turbato italiano' has fierce love and protection for his family. He is best friends with Rome, the lead male character from Tillie's previous books in this series. I could not get enough of this guy. As a male lead, he was so strong, full of fire and HOT.AS.HELL!! The nickname he gave Lexi literally made my heart melt, because when I imagined her character, her nickname fit her description PERFECTLY. Their journey is not easy. It is not all butterflies, rainbows and beautiful sweet romance. It is tough, it hurts and it is dangerous for them both on different levels. It has suspense, it has scenes that made me cry so many tears, and some scenes that I could relate to. This book is going into my top reads of all time. Tillie wrecked me for at least two weeks, I could not pick up another book. Every time I tried, 'Sweet Fall' kept going over and over again in my head. So I was left with a SEVERE BOOK HANGOVER. But that is how I know I have read a book that will stay with me forever, this is a book every reader should experience, a book that holds a piece of my heart and a book that will stay in my soul. It totally consumed me, broke me and healed me. Tillie Cole has a unique writing style, she writes with beautiful depth and makes you fall head over heels in love with her characters. This book is one of my 'FAVOURITE READS OF ALL TIME' I feel absolutely honoured to have read this book, felt all the feels and experience the journey of Lexi and Austin in 'Sweet Fall,' CONGRATULATIONS TILLIE, THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL MASTERPIECE!!!!!Amy's Review“This. The quiet after the storm”....this is exactly what I was left with after reading this book. I am in awe of Tillie Cole yet again. I can’t believe how AMAZING this book really is!!! I LOOOVVEEEDDD this book so hard that I was left speechless after reading it!!The characters Austin and Lexi were magnificently cast. I felt every aspect of sharpness and vulnerability in their characters. Tillie was flawless at bringing them to life and making me feel every beat of their hearts, intertwined and separate. As much as they were Austin and Lexi, they were one person fighting for breath and life together. I was so proud of how Tillie could take such serious topics and turn them in to heart wrenching emotion. So many times I wanted to scream and yell at a character...and then I kept reading and was pleasantly surprised. She is great at creating characters that can suck you in from the first few words on the page. This story was no exception.I feel this is truly Tillie’s best book to date and I have read all her others. Sweet Fall was written with so much strength and conviction that it was evident on every page. This is a highly recommended book, a 5* star read on every level, and a must have in everyone’s library. Take the time to read this book, savor all of the feels that you will receive from the read and get ready to have this book etched in your heart forever. 5 Star read...Amy Leeann's ReviewI'm not even sure where to start with this review. . This story is about a girl (Lexi) who suffers with anorexia and a boy (Austin) from the wrong side if the tracks in so many ways.It has absolutely gut wrenching moments where you can almost literally feel the agony they each of them are going through. But there are sweet, sweet moments too. Underneath all the devastation that is their lives there is a beautiful love story happening. If only everyone could feel the love these 2 young people experience, it is truly life changing. Both Lexi and Austin have both been to hell and back and they are only 21. Lexi battles daily to overcome the disease anorexia but it is a battle she is losing then she meets Austin. He is an Italian boy who grew up in a trailer park and was initiated into gang life at a very young age by none other than his own big brother. He is desperately trying to escape his past and make a better future for his mother and his little brother. But life is never easy, one day Austins whole world comes crashing down around him and so does Lexie's. They need to find a way to get each other through and make it out on the other side in one piece. Help comes in a way that Austin never saw coming but it's at a cost..This story is very sensitive as it is about issues that people deal with in everyday real life. The writer has done a fantastic job showing just how much of a daily struggle it is to deal with a disease as debilitating as anorexia, And also how once your part of gang life even if you think they have let you out you are never really free. The other really important thing the writer focused on in this book is the complete unconditional and unwavering love between a mother and child. The love Austin has for his mother brought tears to my eyes it was just so beautiful and heartbreaking. If you like books that deal with real life issues and situations and also have beautiful, sweet love story then I would highly recommend this book to you. It was a stunningly beautiful, romantic, gut wrenching and devastatingly realistic with a happy ending I am so glad I had the pleasure of reading and reviewing this book.Definitely 5 stars..Leeann!! I read this lovely book in one sitting. I could not put my phone down, it was a great piece so emotional. It's a book that I loved it deserve 5 amazing star!!!! But I can never come back to it again, cause my heart can only take so much pain and anguish. It was good to see the view point of someone battling with an eating disorder cause now I understand the illness more so how the person with the illness struggles each day. As before I was a bit naive with my view about anorexia. But this this book has helped me gain some insight about the battle for which I am grateful for. The romance between Lexi and Austin was fascinating to see it blossomed from start to Finnish. Well done Tillie Cole for another emotional read.
