Sweet Filthy Boy Prepack 16 (2014) - Plot & Excerpts
Mia's just graduated from college and is going to Vegas for a few days to celebrate with friends. While this is not typical behavior for her, she meets a guy at a bar after having a lot to drink, and one thing leads to another. When she wakes up hungover in the morning, she realizes she's wearing a wedding ring. While he realizes they barely know each other, Ansel does not want to get an annulment and wants Mia to come live with him in France for the summer. Mia knows she shouldn't do it, but she's not looking forward to starting business school in Boston in the fall or staying with her parents over the summer, so she goes. Now that she's living with him full time and in a foreign country where she doesn't know anyone, Mia needs to determine if what they have is real or just a good time.I feel like this book is a 3.5 stars for me. I liked it and will read the next book in the series, but only because I was able to get it free from the library. With so many books being $1-$4 on Amazon Kindle, I feel like it has to be FANTASTIC to be $7. I do feel like Mia's friend, Harlow, could have a more entertaining story, so I'm looking forward to reading that. I liked that this had such a different flavor than the Beautiful Bastard series. It was refreshing and made the reading more interesting. Mia and Ansel met just like any other couple, but that is about it to their relationship that is normal. They jump through some much steps and you just can't help but get a little afraid of what that is going to bring them in their future together. The characters were all so very likable and easy to identify with. The thing that I didn't like were the last three chapters. Seemed a little too rushed for me. Other than that, amazing read!
