When I first heard about a series of romance novels about Santa’s five strapping sons I was intrigued. I love quirky. I love out of the ordinary. At the time, I really hadn’t read any romance novels and this sounded like a good place to start. By the time I finished Sweet Inspiration I was hooked. Penny Watson’s quirky imagination and sense of fun shine here. She also brought me over to the beard side.Nicholas Klaus has gone in search of what he has heard is an amazing sugar cookie. As a baker from the North Pole whose specialty is cookies, of course he was going to go check it out. The cookie was fantastic, but what really gets his attention was Lucy Brewster, owner and head baker at Sweet Inspiration. Lucy can’t help but notice Nicholas and things heat up. It’s not all easy going, but as Lucy finds out the North Pole is a great place for dreams to come true.
