This was one HOT page turner! I burned through all of the pages and then regretted its loss once I was done. A beautiful blend of romance, tragedy and humor that will have you laughing out loud, sighing, blushing and even shedding a few tears. So be careful where you read it! I absolutely LOVED how Sarah & Tony first met and the push and pull between them. While I was totally engrossed with their story I came to love all of the other characters involved and started to feel like I belonged as well. I can't wait to hear Charlie (Sarah's brother) and Melanie's story in Tycoon Takedown (Lone Star Burn #2) or anything else that she writes :) I won this in a goodreads first reads giveaway.. thanks for the wonderful read :) ** Received as a ARC from NetGalley for an honest review **Having read her Legacy series I took the chance that this book would be just as good. I was totally not disappointed.I love the way Ruth can take the simple things in life and make them into a great story. In this instance, writing a book, running a horse farm. Always adding the troubled souls. Both main characters have that in spades but with the help of each other learn to pull themselves up by their boot straps, literally, they learn to love.Anxious for the series to continue in all of Ruth's style and glory just like the last series I read of hers.
