I enjoy watching TED Talk, it gave me a lot of information and inspiration just by watching the speakers sharing their story.I'm further impressed that Gallo in this book would able to summarise and analyse how how the speakers were delivered their TED talks. He really nail down the details and what are the focus areas we should be looking at if we are delivery a talk.Talk Like TED is a book you should read if you are serious about public speaking. Have been listening to many TED talks recently and always find them very interesting, insightful and inspirational. The key items identified are ones we can use every day but to do a truly effective presentation, there is a ton more practice and preparation need. One example someone had was the 18 minute presentation took over 200 hours to create. Hard to put 200 hours into a work presentation, but if you can use a couple of the items in small increments, the power of your presentation could increase exponentially. If you haven't heard of TED, go to TED (dot) com and check out one or two. The programs are also available to download to your phone.
A useful book that I have already applied and it proved to be truly effective.
