Tantalize: Kieren's Story (2011) - Plot & Excerpts
The art in this book was well done. The premise for this story was interesting, but the story itself turned a little predictable. The main reason for the lower rating is that, while I enjoyed the story, it seemed to skip ahead now and then. For instance, there was one point where it seemed the police were tailing Kieren, and the next page the story jumped to Kieren someplace else. Clearly they got away, but it seemed an odd portion of story to skip. It happens a few times and always caused a moment of feeling like I missed a page. Overall, the story was good, but not great. I would recommend it to anyone whose read the novel "Tantalize" and wants more. Figuring since this was 'Kieran's Story' this would be a little more revealing, but it really wasn't. And where with the novel it seemed slightly tongue in cheek this one was just trying to be serious and failing miserably. The art was okay at best. The cover artwork was done by Sam Weber and he should have done the artwork for the whole book because newcomer Ming Doyle was just not my cup of tea.
What do You think about Tantalize: Kieren's Story (2011)?
it was okay. I didn't like the draws of the character. and they weren't how i picture them either.
