Tattoos And Tequila: To Hell And Back With One Of Rock's Most Notorious Frontmen (2010) - Plot & Excerpts
Here we've got your standard hair metal autobiography, this time by the lead singer of Motley Crue. Sex, drugs, rock and roll, and some death. Currently, Vince Neil owns some tattoo shops, a line of tequila, and a few other business ventures. He also comes across as extremely bitter about his band mates, his ex-wives, and having to be sober. Fun read, nice to realize that there would be NO WAY a normal person like me could drink and drug that much and survive, holy cats. This was an interesting read. I liked Vince Neil's recollections and hearing about his early life and how the band formed. His recollections may not be all that accurate as he claims to not remember A LOT. You don't have to be a die hard Motley Crue head to read it. Vince Neil is unapologetic about how he is and WHO he is. Which is a little odd because he seems to have done quite a few things wrong (and we're not just talking 4 marriages. Sad part is the way he feels about his band mates. All in all an entertaining read.
