Probably 3 1/2 to 4 stars. Loved the hero, Daniel. Delicious Daniel was absolute, swoon worthy male perfection! The heroine, Mac or Makenna, unfortunately was far from perfect. I honestly really disliked her. She had this perfect (and I mean perfect) guy in Daniel, who was head over heels for her and she kept pushing him away. I wanted to choke her numerous times in this book! She did not deserve Daniel. I was wishing he'd move on and find someone more deserving! Like me :). There was some humor in this book which I enjoyed and some well-written banter between Mac and Daniel. Ultimately though if not for Daniel, this book would have been a DNF for me. Oh this was a really cute read!! And it was free! It was definitely more than I expected. I loved the H Daniel he was so so hot. Loved the heroine Mac too. Although she did test my nerves with the running away all the time. Daniel was sooo good to her though. Loved how he cared for her, despite her hangups. There were some really good and steamy scenes and cute banter. Overall, really good read!
