Kurt said as he played with my hair and brushed it back from in front of my face. “Good morning,” I said with a smile as I stretched. “How did you sleep?” he asked. “Pretty well. How about you?” I replied. “I always sleep great when I’m next to you,” he said as his fingers danced through the individual strands of hair. “What are we doing today?” I asked. “I thought we could go to brunch soon. The hotel has a great little restaurant, and we could still make it in time,” he said. “That sounds lovely. I’ll get ready first,” I said before getting up and scuffling into the bathroom to freshen up. I emerged twenty minutes later, my hair wavy and my body all nice and fresh. I wore a flowy and sheer pink top, a white skirt, and saw the look on his face as I came out. I decided last night, especially after the way Kurt treated me all night that I couldn’t dwell on Tom while still on this trip.
