That Bear Ate My Pants Adventures Of A Real Idiot (2011) - Plot & Excerpts
Amusing book about one man's time spent volunteering at an animal rescue center in Ecuador. It's a quick read and funny in places, cringe worthy in others. The story makes you think about your own path and adventures or lack there of. If you've traveled, it makes you think of those experiences, the people you spent time with, maybe lost touch with, and how that time changed your life. Definitely a fun read if you are a travel enthusiast or just someone looking for a funny story. With a bit more editing to correct some grammar flaws, I'd have been more inclined to give it four stars. I've been reading this book a little at a time for about two weeks. Every night I've mostly laughed at Tony's adventures. A few times I cried -- there are a few sad bits. Last night I finished reading the book and I felt like I was saying goodbye to a friend. I hope there will be a sequel so I can hear about the further adventures of Tony. He has a way of spinning a yarn and I like that each chapter can be read independently so I don't "one more page" myself to a 3 am bed time.

A seriously funny book, one I didn't want to put down and didn't want to end, want more
