I am reading these short stories as I hate to not know what the end is especially after investing time and money into reading the first 14 books. However I am starting to believe that this is just a money grab for the author to continue dragging the story out. While I don't mind the story and its entertaining this business of publishing short stories, that in the end would result in a novel, is getting to be very costly and the story isn't so entertaining that it justifies the cost. I've read limited books/ novels written by H.M. Ward and after this series is done, if I commit to the end, I highly doubt I will read her stuff again for fear that I fall prey to her greed in making the all mighty dollar.I beg the author to end this series so I can stop throwing money out the door thanks to my obsessive nature and need to have closure. Again with the cliffhangers? I thought this book was done in 15?? So at $2.99/book I have spent $45 and not done yet. I think I'm done. Why add Trystan to the mix? Made no sense to involve him really other than helping protect Avery. I really liked the concept but after about book 7 when. I got frustrated and now with no ending in sight? Come on?!? I think this would have read much better in ine or two books with a little more character development. Now it is kind of all over the place...
Def makes me want to read the other one and i am surprised that i figured it out though....
