The Arrangement 4: The Ferro Family (2013) - Plot & Excerpts
I am completely hooked on these books so far! I have read the first 4 in 3 days, and it’s killing me to stop to switch family members, but that’s the suggested order, so I’m going to follow it. Here’s the thing, though: I’m not really sure what it is that I love about them! Basically, Avery is a poor college student, and as a last-ditch effort to not lose everything she’s worked for (including her scholarship), she takes on a job as a call girl. Her first client also happens to be this hot, mysterious guy who has helped her out of a couple of tight spots.I’ve got to tell you that on paper, there is nothing about this series that would appeal to me. A call girl? Seriously? But there’s just something about Avery and Sean that I love. Their interactions are hot and cold and amusing and just so fun to read! There are some sex scenes that are pretty steamy, but I feel like they’re easier to read and more appropriately placed than, say, Fifty Shades of Grey. When I read FSoG, I would get super invested in the storyline, and then I felt like there was the obligatory sex scene thrown in. I don’t feel that way with The Arrangement. At the end of the third installment, I wasn’t sure I liked where the story was going, but I decided to keep going, at least for one more, and I am so glad I did! There was a lot I really liked about The Arrangement 4 (though some of it was predictable), and that ending? Based on the ending of the first four installments, I know I’m not going to be happy when I’m caught up and have to wait with the was H.M. Ward writes endings!I will also mention that the books are in need of some editing. I know that she publishes them quickly, so she probably doesn’t pick up on them, but I definitely noticed some spelling, grammar, and tense issues while reading. However, I was ensconced enough in the story that they didn’t really bother me that much. There are some things that make me roll my eyes, like Avery being inexperienced and the fact that Sean seems to always be wherever she is, but overall, I’m really enjoying this series and would recommend it. And if you have Kindle Unlimited and can read this series for free? Even better! I am completely hooked on these books so far! What do You think about The Arrangement 4: The Ferro Family (2013)?
Could Avery get any more in over her head! Just because your feelings are hurt, why would you throw all that cash at him. Seriously. Tear his room up! Don't give the billionaire more money! Then she has to hope & pray Black doesn't fire her. After saving her job, Black wants the money back. Just great! So since she doesn't have it and can't tell her why, now she has to work for free until her debt is paid. After having a complete meltdown with Mel, she walks into her room and finds Marty. Thinking the worst, which is sleeping with her skank roommate, only to be wrong. Her BFF decorates her room to make her feel better. Could she not have a sweeter BFF. Now it's time to get on with her unfortunate job. Her first assignment is just to be an escort. Henry seems like a nice enough man. Seems like this will be easy. Oh how wrong she is. Only Henry would be meeting with the one person she doesn't want to see. After finally getting through dinner and telling Sean to leave her alone, she gets her car and goes home. Of course that POS always stalls at that infamous light that brought Sean into her life. Again she hears his motorcycle and hurries to get through the light. Only Sean speeds past her so that a truck doesn't hit her. He saved her life, now he is in the hospital. She finds the envelope he was trying to give her. It has the necklace of her moms and a note from Sean apologizing. Now all she has is guilt. I don't know whether to feel bad for Avery or slap her. It seems that Sean is always making her feel awful then think it is ok to just apologize. Onto #5!

What a hot mess! Seriously! I don't know if I like this series or if I hate it! But regardless of that fact I CANT put it down!!!! I want to quit reading! I don't like Sean! I don't like Avery! They drive me crazy! This story is a freakin train wreak in the making but... I stupidly keep on reading! I have to say AGAIN I really don't like how the author has published this series I think that it's too much money for so little story at a time but... Thank goodness for Amazon and their 9.99 unlimited book program...
