The Audacity To Win: The Inside Story And Lessons Of Barack Obama's Historic Victory (2009) - Plot & Excerpts
This book describes the 2008 US Presidential campaign of Barack Obama. As someone interested in politics, I enjoyed learning about the campaign from behind the scenes. The events portrayed are recent enough to still remember, which added to my reading experience. My one criticism is that the narrator of the eAudiobook used annoying voices to portray women. That said, the eAudiobook allowed me to read this lengthy book in just a week. Interesting book but took me awhile to read. Got bogged down in the middle of it, more details than I could or maybe wanted to absorb. Left it for a bit and decided to give the book another try. Glad that I did, although I did skip a few chapters in the middle. It was exciting to see how the events unfolded to make Barrack Obama get elected as president of the United States. It was vote by vote, and grassroots driven. The book gives you the inside story of a major historical event, and is worth the read.
