She is 35, and now that she has accomplished all of her goals, she is ready to find a husband. He is 27, and he has yet to accomplish any of his goals. A chance meeting between the two of them causes sparks, an undeniable connection between the two of them. This book has spark, funniness and romance that will keep you up late at night reading. Loved this story. RATING: 3.5-4 Stars TYPE OF NOVEL: Mild Adult Romance CHARACTERS: Tyler Connelly & Evelyn Rhoades SERIES: Book 2 in series, but each book is a stand alone with no related characters. DATE FINISHED: 2014/10/12 The second book in Bell Harbor - it is not necessary to read book 1, but there is some overlap of characters and honestly Crazy Little Thing is a better book. I reread it prior to this because It had been a while and I wasn't sure if I needed to recall the characters. That book is hysterically funny. The best Medicine had some great one liners. Evelyn a type A personality plastic surgeon meets a hunky guy who is being arrested for stealing. He returns a few days later trying to explain the situation. Evelyn doesn't want to hear it but is attracted. Meanwhile everyone she knows is trying to get her a date or assume she wants a baby and WHAM Evie suddenly realizes she wants a baby, marriage and a date, not in that order as her hormones come out of hibernation. Her dating process is a hoot as she keeps running into Tyler who still wants to date her. Evie struggles with being an older woman, and in a different financial strata vs. a hottie guy who was arrested but genuinely kind and generous.hmmm tough choices.
