This is #2 in The Morpheous Road series. I listened to this one and the narrator was very good and I think I understood this one more than the first one. I even enjoyed it a lot more than the first one. Maybe because I understood more about what was going on. My only wish would have been to read them closer together. I had forgot some of the things that happened in the first one. Even though he did tie everything together very nicely, I would have liked to see the parallel as it was happening more.I will probably try and find the 3rd book in the series, so that I can see what happens next. It could be very interesting.I am giving this 5 out of 5 stars and will be recommending this to my boy readers to be sure. Cooper Foley is in Trouble Town again...but this time his journey is on Morpheus Road, somewhere between the land of the living (the Light) and the land of the dead(the Black). Coop is dead and is trying to save his living best friend from a completely evil spirit. This second book in the Morpheus Road trilogy continues the adventure from Cooper Foley's point of view. A bit slower and not as terrifying as the haunting of Marshall in The Light the momentum is maintained through well developed characters and plot twists and turns.Recommended: 13+Subject/Theme: horror, death, paranormalSeries: Morpheus Road ( The Light, The Black, The Blood)
What do You think about The Black (2011)?
It wasn't as good as The Light, but I still liked it. Cooper isn't as lovable without Marsh around.
