What do You think about The Bridgerton's: Happily Ever After - Bahagia Selamanya (2014)?
The Bridgertons: Happily Ever AfterBy Julia QuinnMarch 16, 2014The Bridgertons: Happily Ever After is a book aimed at a specific audience – namely, the fans of Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton series. Many fans, myself among them, have wondered what happened to certain characters after the book ends. In The Bridgertons: Happily Ever After, Ms. Quinn has responded to her fans’ requests and has provided us with an anthology of vignettes that tells us what happened after the book ended, a second epilogue if you will. The stories are short, and mostly sweet, filled with the gentle wit and humor readers have come to expect from Julia Quinn. Although you could probably read these vignettes on their own without having previously read the Bridgerton novels, but it definitely helps to have this background, as some details might not make much sense. Perfect reading just before bedtime (when you want sweet dreams), or when spending a quiet afternoon in the sun. I loved the Bridgerton series and this collection of epilogues was a fun read - especially enjoyed Frannie and Michael's story and there was some lovely humour in Daphne and Simon's. Least enjoyable was Gregory and Lucy's, but then I found their original story rather dull. Violet in Bloom was a bit of a letdown, I think I was hoping for a lot more about this remarkable matriarch and her relationship with Edmund and how she carried on after his death with eight kids to raise. Was also disappointed with the bit where she danced with the stranger - it never went anywhere! Why?! Poor Violet. Not even a little nooky after so many years of sacrificing everything for the kids.

A very different type of book, but in a good way. :-)
