The Bridgerton's: Happily Ever After - Bahagia Selamanya (2014) - Plot & Excerpts

kalo kaga 5 bintang, kaga sah!!!8 bab awal gw ngakak sampe sakit perut, bener2 ni kelakuan para Bridgerton, ude pada punya anak tetep aja sama.. ampun deh!! dan pas bab 9 : Cinta untuk Violet gw mewek2 sampe netes tes tes tes... kaga kebayang rasanya jadi Violet, hamil tua dan suaminya mati gitu aja karena lebah, lebah!!!gw pas baca Anthony takut lebah, sampe ngakak2.. pls deh, lebah doang.. tapi pas baca cerita ke 9 ini, ya ampuuunnn... ya ampunnn... jadi 5 bintang untuk novel ini, mba JQ daebak!! gw belum pernah baca HR sampe nangis2 loh.. hihihihi #lebehdikitlah The Bridgertons are my favorite family ever! I'm ecstatic that Ms. Quinn wrote a second epilogue for all the stories! I wish more authors did that! I love following up with my favorite romance couples to see how they're doing in the future!I really enjoyed all the stories, but the most heart wrenching/memorable ones has to be:1) Kate/Anthony: Pall Mall was my favorite scene in their book and I continue to love this bickering/competitive family in their Pall Mall competition. 2) Francesca/Michael: I cried my eyes out when I read "When he was wicked" and Francesca's story continues to make heart bleed. She suffered through so much so it is with relief that she finally finds full happiness. 3) Lucy/Gregory: their original story was my least favorite, but I can't believe how Ms. Quinn made Lucy and Gregory suffer in this one. 4) Violet - Violet has been such an important character in this entire series, so I loved that Ms. Quinn told her story in this short novella. What happened to Edmund was truly a tragedy, but I'm glad that Violet found happiness in her children and family. All the stories in this book is worth reading if you want to see more of the Bridgertons. Now this is truly the end to this amazing series. I will have to find another great historical romance author now!

What do You think about The Bridgerton's: Happily Ever After - Bahagia Selamanya (2014)?

The Bridgertons: Happily Ever AfterBy Julia QuinnMarch 16, 2014The Bridgertons: Happily Ever After is a book aimed at a specific audience – namely, the fans of Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton series. Many fans, myself among them, have wondered what happened to certain characters after the book ends. In The Bridgertons: Happily Ever After, Ms. Quinn has responded to her fans’ requests and has provided us with an anthology of vignettes that tells us what happened after the book ended, a second epilogue if you will. The stories are short, and mostly sweet, filled with the gentle wit and humor readers have come to expect from Julia Quinn. Although you could probably read these vignettes on their own without having previously read the Bridgerton novels, but it definitely helps to have this background, as some details might not make much sense. Perfect reading just before bedtime (when you want sweet dreams), or when spending a quiet afternoon in the sun. I loved the Bridgerton series and this collection of epilogues was a fun read - especially enjoyed Frannie and Michael's story and there was some lovely humour in Daphne and Simon's. Least enjoyable was Gregory and Lucy's, but then I found their original story rather dull. Violet in Bloom was a bit of a letdown, I think I was hoping for a lot more about this remarkable matriarch and her relationship with Edmund and how she carried on after his death with eight kids to raise. Was also disappointed with the bit where she danced with the stranger - it never went anywhere! Why?! Poor Violet. Not even a little nooky after so many years of sacrificing everything for the kids.

A very different type of book, but in a good way. :-)
