The Butterfly Mosque: A Young American Woman's Journey To Love And Islam (2010) - Plot & Excerpts

This was a pretty good book. It definitely reminded me of the time that I spent in Turkey (3 years). And you know that it held my attention because I completed this in 2 days. Originally I gave this book 3 stars - only because I wished we could rate it on a .5 scale (it's more 3.5). But after thinking about it more, noticing that I was reading this book while walking to/from work (I never do this), reading at each and every break I had - it deserves 4 stars. I do love the author's spirit - how initially she was not afraid to travel to Egypt, how she expressed her fears while on the plane (lol, I have been at that point myself). Overall - this was a very good read.

What do You think about The Butterfly Mosque: A Young American Woman's Journey To Love And Islam (2010)?

I learned a lot about Egypt and its people. Beautifully written biography. Allah bless.
