Brilliant finish! I love how she treated the transition from Amyrantha to earth and how earth’s faith/future/history (however you want to state it) is tied to the Tide Lords’ influences and actions (e.g. the destruction of the dinosaurs). This was a very humorous, imaginative and fitting end to the series and I loved it! I love the attention to details e.g. the switch from “my Tides” to” my God”; the way people were created on Amyrantha and its correlation to earth’s creation story. I love how my favourite Tide lords were future in the end (Cayal & Declan) and how she allowed our imaginations to take over with respect to what happens next between our two heroes and Arkady. Once more I must say Brilliant! Overall, I really enjoyed this series. The characters were good and I enjoyed their witty banter. But I've got to say...what was with that ending?! I really felt like Fallon didn't know how to end it, or while she was writing she thought "hmm..I should probs make up some to end it because I can't be bothered writing this story anymore...". It was just really random and sudden, and it leaves it wide open for a follow on, and I wonder if there ever will be one.
This book was nearly four stars, and then I got to the end. Really? REALLY?
