I bought this, impressed by the top sportsmen the author had helped. Unfortunately the terms he used: chimps, gremlins, computers, moons and on and on, irritated me, and muddied the message. I think what Steve is trying to say is: think before you react, do the best you can do, and think about what your dream is - then plan a schedule to make it achievable. So, underneath all the gibberish, some sensible advise. You know what, I've read the first chapter and it's already changed me. I think of the chimp as someone who will pull you back. So it can be treated like an enemy when it gives negative feedback. For example, I want to excerise but "it" won't let me. And I've a very stubborn person and I don't like losing. So just by reading the first chapter, I've come to the conclusion that I won't let the chimp win. And I'm going to use this thought in everything I do.
What do You think about The Chimp Paradox (2012)?
I thought this book was easy to read and I know I will come back to it again and again.

An interesting book with a lot of great insights. It helped me be more rational.

Very helpful but you have to read it several times.
