This story was a roller coaster to me, tia had demons that she was dealing with since she was raped. Aaron turns out to be just what the Bishop needed to change the out come of the church faith. Monique is still being the faithful first lady. but we all know that the dust will be kicked up in The Jamaican Ministries walls.I' 've been waiting on this book for awhile now, I love Carl Webers workI highly recommend this book. Spoiler Alert!! The end is going to throw you for a loop. I was floored. Just finished rereading The Choir Director so I was really ready to read the sequel. I finished in 2 days. Happy to see all the returning characters and some new ones showing up. Unfortunately even though the ending was completely unexpected, I didn't feel like it had been fleshed out enough to warrant the little time and explanation it was given. Overall enjoyed this book. I'm a Carl Weber fan anyway, so I generally like his style( after you get past the sex scenes).
WoW - Carl Weber has done it again and things really aren't what they appear to be.
