I liked how this author was able to give a read such a interesting read about Luke Granger and Philamena Booth. The story will keep you reading once you start because there will be so much going on with all the twist and turns that it all will keep your attention to the end. This author did a wonderful job in presenting to the reader this town of Hardman, Oregon in the 1890's with all of its conveniences that were there even at that time. The settings and descriptions were very well done making it seem as if you were actually there. Will this marriage of convenience work for these two? Well, this is where I say you must pick up the good read and see for yourself. All I can say is that I felt this was a enjoyable sweet historical western romance that I would recommend to you. I like a good chartacter story, but Christmas Bargain starts so slowly that I wondered if it would have much plot at all. There were cute scenes between the thrown-together love interests, but it wasn't until the halfway point where I felt the story moving with any kind of conflict. Then at 65%, it really picked up and I ended up enjoying the somewhat predictable, but satisfying end. As a Christmas story a la Hallmark, it was okay.

What do You think about The Christmas Bargain (2012)?

Fun read. Needs an editor, though. The missing words and incorrect punctuation were distracting.
