Book #2 in this series did not disappoint! I loved it! Again, some scenes are cringe-worthy (make sure you research the book before you buy/read), but the writing is well done and the storyline is unique.Rachel is kidnapped by the Rogues, due to her Druid blood and Cole will stop at nothing to find her. As he searches, his friend Nathan stumbles across another Druid, Holly, who is very special. As the plot progresses, we learn she is to be the Queen and thus is the most vital part of their existence. This author has a talent for an interesting plot/continuation, and as usual, sultry writing! I really enjoyed the first book, that being said, I did not enjoy this one. It was told from 5 different perspectives. At one time there is a fight. Every 2 to 3 paragraphs (they are reallly small paragraphs), it switches to a different character perspective. I found it to be very confusing. The characters were divided into either good or evil. The good ones being extremely good and honourable, (they'd probably throw themselves in front of a bus if there was a slim chance they would save the girl). The characters sometimes irked me in their overly angelic ways.As for the development of the story line, it was not too shabby. But with the overzealous characters and different narration style, I don't think I will pursue this series any further. I found this book was not worth my 2.99. The first book was free, so I guess I'll call it even.
What do You think about The Druid Series 2: Bled (2013)?
I admire writers who publish their stories. 1-1/2 stars on this series. Great covers though!
