Holy buckets of complicated water. I had a hard time from the first to the last pages. It didn't help that half of the time I was just lost. There was a point around 52% where I'm in the middle of reading and the story keeps shifting! and I though back over he first half of the book and nothing made sense. I couldn't pinpoint where the story was going. It took forever, so caught up in its wordy world building. It wasn't a romance, in the traditional sense. Hell I was under the impression that they were convenient for each other. But, nope somewhere when I was lost within the travels of the past they connected. Them going back to the past killed me every time. Then it all just kind of resolves it self. This just wasn't for me. I did not like this at all! I had such a hard time trying to finish this one. There was probably about 3 spots that I felt the authors could have finished this one or at least tied it in a relatively nice bow and I wold have been okay with that, but it kept going The characters were good, not great, but they held their own and weren't carbon copies which is a plus. The writing on the other hand was choppy and weird, I'm just not even sure who's POV it was until half a couple paragraphs in sometimes. I'm definitely representing the minority for this one so give it a try. Especially if you are into faeries and the like.
Oh.my.god....That was the most amazing trip! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
