This book ended the Trilogy really well. There are surprises, but all of them are welcome. I have to say that I cried at one point. It is the best of the whole series. Before you read this book, you should read the The Ash and The Raid. I do hope that she comes back to this "universe", for I believe there are a lot of things that can be mined…without stretching. She is growing as a writer, too. I hope that her next project is at this calibre or higher. Good strength. Ok, after just finishing this book/series, I have to commend the author on planning out every detail of the story so things make sense. Rarely do I read a series that every piece comes together properly without that "stick it here and hope it works" kind of feeling afterwords.I thoroughly enjoyed this series and I feel that all of the story lines were closed properly, thus, sadly not leaving much room for there ever being another book in the series that would fit as well. I would recommend this series to anyone who loves dystopian books, or sci-fi stories with a twist.
What do You think about The Eve (2000)?
3.5 stars. Kind of a cliche ending but still enjoyable.
