The Familiars #2: Secrets Of The Crown (2011) - Plot & Excerpts
Aldwyn just wanted to relax with his master but the evil rabbit Paksahara, a rogue wizard assisted, conjured a powerful spell from a sacred towered, that randomly teleported around the world, preventing humans form being able to cast magic. So Aldwyn and his other animal friends set out of an epic journey to find the crown of the snow leopard, on of the last remaining artifacts that can summon the mystical teleporting tower. Then along the quest the animals encounter danger after danger and found that many animals are ready to ally them selves with the evil Paksahara. The best book of the trilogy for me. It has this fast paced plot and it also starts to answer both the old and the newly made questions. The most surprising thing was that even if you live a totally normal life, you can relate to Aldwyn in some way. I mean, you find yourself to understand a cat better than you understand humans and it's totally crazy! If you liked the first book, you'll LOVE the second book of the series :)
