My Grandson received this book for Christmas.All book-lovers MUST rush to the bookstore to buy a copy of this book! This is SO much more than a children's book; it is a book that everyone should read! My Grandson received the book because he loves the library. This book brings to life the reason why we ALL need books in our hands and we all need to support our local libraries as places of wonder! I really enjoyed this book. It teaches the reader that reading books brings the life out of everything. What I got out of reading this story is that books contain powerful information. You gain knowledge page by page. I recommend teachers/ parents to read the story and also watch the video version as well. One section in the book that stood out to me was when the "older" book was about to die but once the main character started reading it, it soon began to come back to life. This illustrates that when you read books, you bring the book to life. Towards the end of the story, you understand why the first girl character was floating away with book balloons. This is a circle story because it repeats itself over and over but with different characters. I strongly recommend everyone to read this no matter what age you are!
