The Flesh Cartel #8: Loyalties (2013) - Plot & Excerpts
I need a break! This series is so dark and so hard right from the beginning, but in this book, the transformation in Dougie and the way Nikolai broke him was the harder thing for me, it completely broke my heart.So, I will take a break from the darkness I was in the last couple of days reading the series and will continue reading it when some more books will be out and there is hope for some light in the dark. This isn't one of my favourites in the series. The point of this one seems to be to show how close the boys have come to being the perfect slaves. The mind fuck part was absent this time round. Most of these have left me feeling a range of emotions, this one not so much. There is always going to stories in serials that aren't as enjoyable as the others. For me it was this one.Onwards, waiting for the next one.
